Build a Bear Day

As we prepare for Kevin's deployment to Afghanistan, we are trying to make some fun memories for the boys. We took them to Build a Bear and let them each pick out a stuffed animal to make. Inside each animal is a specially recorded message from Daddy. All they have to do is press the stuffed animal's hand to hear the recording. Each animal is decked out in a military outfit with dog tags. We even let them get a camouflage tent to let them play with. The boys had a great time making the stuffed animals and will get to bring them out on May 25 when Daddy leaves for training. Right now, Skipper, Ranger, Defensico and Nahgfa (Afghan spelled backwards) are waiting in their condos stored in our closet.
