To the Lagoon

Kevin took Ben, Will and Caleb out for an early breakfast and tour while Joe and I stayed behind to rest up. I talked Joe into taking a bubble bath in the big bathtub in my room and this seemed to perk him up. His stomach was still uneasy but he is in a good mood and getting around well. When they came back we headed toward the beach to the Lagoon. The boys took a pedal boat around the lagoon for an hour....all 5 of them. It was fun to watch them from the shore - at one point Caleb fell off the back, and it took them a little while to even realize it as he clung to the boat floating in the water.

When we returned to our room there were surprise gifts from the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Becky Beckwith at Travel Services Everywhere. The boys got backpacks filled with shirts, stuffed penguins, a lunch bag cooler, books, maps and chocolates. They are getting so spoiled on this adventure:)

I am getting a little extra opportunity to blog since Joe and I have stayed behind and not joined the rest of our family eating out at mealtime. We are having a really great time so far. Joe, Ben, and Kevin are signed up for a 2 hour surf lesson tomorrow morning...I hope to get some good photos of everyone. Joe is feeling so much better this afternoon, too!
