Results Confirmed...Benign

We received a call from the doctor's office that confirmed that the biopsies from Joe's procedure were benign. Praise God! Joe recovered without any problem from last week's colonoscopy and was out playing baseball the next day. His energy level is great, his hair is starting to come back a little thicker, he is playing baseball, his grip is improving, and his spirits are up. He has one chemotherapy treatment left this Friday. Wow...it is hard to imagine it is coming to an end...it's a wonderful feeling. Joe will have lots of tests run three weeks after his last chemotherapy and then probably have surgery sometime in November to have his port removed from his chest. It is a great feeling knowing it is almost over and to see him doing so well. It is amazing to look back on this experience and see how God has been walking with us at every turn. We look forward to celebrating Joe's 8th birthday in November...cancer free!!!!
