Wednesday, May 5, 2010 - Great Week for Joe!

Joe has steadily gotten stronger and better every day this week. He is eating a little more so he has increased his energy and we haven't seen any side effects from last week's chemo. This is a huge blessing and answer to prayer! He is wanting to be more active and do more which makes me a little nervous at times. Grandma and Grandpa Zeller gave Ben, our soon to be 9 year old, and Daddy a ping pong table as an early birthday present (they share the same birthday which is also on Mother's Day this year). Joe thinks this gift is great and it is also a good activity that he can participate in. This should be a great activity for all during the hot summer.

Grandma and Grandpa Zeller left early this morning to return to Minnesota and Grampie and Gramie Turner arrived from Florida shortly after. It has been busy at the house and we are so thankful for all of their help.

Unless there are any changes, it doesn't look like there is much to report until Joe has his next chemotherapy treatment on Friday.

Praise God!! Tell Joe I taught his super cool hand shake with the 'bracelet bump' to Kali and Tommy. They thought that was so cool. You are all covered with our prayers! Love you~
