Monday, May 3, 2010 - Joe is feeling good
Joe is feeling good, getting around well, and eating more. He is starting to get a little bored not being able to do the activities his other brothers are able to do. It is natural for him to want to jump in and join the kids but we have to remind him to be careful. His surgery to his abdomen is healing great and not as painful for him. Maybe he can start catching a ball in a couple of weeks but he won't be able to throw or hit for another 5 weeks or so. It felt a little more normal when Kevin and I got to hang out with all 4 of the boys outside this evening. We are so glad that Joe is doing well this week. He even had one scoop of ice cream tonight! Lord, thank you for the healing you are working in Joe's body.

Thank God that you are able to feel back to "somewhat normal!!!!!"
I am sure all the kids are enjoying having Mommie and Daddy home more and things getting back into some sort of schedule again.... Thank God for only giving us what we can handle... I am praying he is still feeling well all week... Free Ice Cream for all of you when we get the shop up and running~! Love you tons...
