Kevin had the day off so we took the boys to the IMAX Theater in Fort Worth. We saw the show about Lewis and Clark and called it a day of history...the benefit of home schooling:) Later tonight we went by the ball fields to watch some games and let the boys play with some friends. They had a great time there and ran off a lot of energy. Joe was having fun playing with the other kids and running around. We are still trying to keep him from throwing the ball and getting too wild but this is VERY HARD! His incision from the surgery is healing great. It has been 6 weeks since the surgery so he feels like he is ready to go full speed. We were told to wait about 8 weeks to resume all activity so Mom and Dad are trying to hold him back a little longer to be cautious. It is fun to see him laughing, having so much fun, and feeling like "one of the gang" again.
Joe still has some minor side effects from his chemotherapy at random times. Last night around 10 pm he complained of pain in his jawbone. I reviewed my notes from the doctor visits and verified that it can be a side effect from the Vincristine. We were able to give him some Tylenol, had him suck on some ice and allowed him to stay up late watching baseball which seemed to help. When he was able to finally fall asleep, he slept well. We are thankful that the side effects are mild and he is still tolerating everything very well. Lord, you are so faithful and our Rock on which we lean.

Your family is so adorable, and so blessed by the Lord. I thank God for you every time I read your blog and see your pictures. I praise Him every time I hear that Joe is able to pass another day without too much trouble from the chemo. I will continue to pray that the chemo does it's job and doesn't cause him too much discomfort in the process.
Love you My Friend
In Christ,
Renee Twaddle
