Sunday, May 23, 2010 - Ranger Game

Today Ben and Joe went to the Texas Rangers baseball game courtesy of the Burleson Bandits, a baseball team Joe played against last summer. I was going to take the 3 older boys until I became sick last night. At the last minute, we were able to once again get our good friend, Lori Gorman, and her mother-in-law, Marie Gorman, to pick up Ben and Joe and take them to the game. (Thanks, Lori and Marie, for taking the boys and driving so far to get them!) Even though the Rangers ended up losing the game, it sounds like the boys had a wonderful time. Another fun event was that a friend saw them at the game and invited them up to a suite with some of their baseball buddies. They thought this was really great and enjoyed all the action. Thank you Burleson Bandits for this special gift for Joe! We'll look for you out on the fields this summer.
